Summary: The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Program Analyst and Headquarters Air Force action officer supporting Agency modernization and implementation of Air Force Force Design. Performs analytical, evaluative, integration, and staff work to assess modernization issues and develop recommendations regarding capability priorities, force structure, plans and posture, investment strategies, resource decisions, and execution. Duties: Performs analytical and integration activities supporting assessment and prioritization of Air Force modernization initiatives. Supports assessment of how prioritized capabilities can be translated into an operationally effective, appropriately sized, and sustainable future force. Supports development and assessment of investment and resource strategies necessary to translate modernization, force structure, and posture recommendations into executable Air Force decisions. Supports integration of operational planning, posture, basing, and execution considerations into Air Force modernization activities.
